Montoons: Clash of the Coral Isles
The MonToons of the Coral Isles, accustomed to conflict, now face an unprecedented event, one which promises to fulfill an ancient prophecy: The Tidemark. As the Waystones of the island’s territories become supercharged, the most powerful MonToon warriors from all factions will traverse sand, sea, rock, and reef to claim unimaginable power and etch their names into its vast history.
An interesting game of combat on a map, this one promises to be expandable in the future, with different MonToon warriors providing unique ways or moving and attacking on the board. If you’re looking for a head-to-head conflict game that provides simple rules but a lot of special effects and features to keep the gameplay engaging in the long run, you’ll be delighted with exploring the battleground in MonToons.
Grimlore: Profane Truths
GRIMLORE Profane Truths is an episodical print-and-play word-finding and dice-manipulation game with role-playing aspects. In every episode (or case file), you try to fill several scenarios with letters to form dictionary words to progress in the story and to defeat your opponents. As you progress, the character that you represent gains more knowledge and equipment to help them in their case.
A fascinating little game which promises to continue to grow over the course of the coming months. You get special hints for puzzles, which might help solve things for the secret words, but all you need to do in the game is form real words, regardless of what they are, in order to play the game. That might sound easy, but you have to manage how to juggle those letters you earn via rolls each round, taking out threats as you try to complete each case file.
Dangerous Space: Archivist Four, Rescue Mission
When the Solar Church takes an interest in a junker, watch out. That usually means this ain’t no average dive. Good thing Sunshine has psionic abilities.
Okay, the skills on this character are worth really digging into this week and considering how they can be helpful. The obvious and easy one is the Risk Taker, which I think we’ve seen in other characters before, letting you add 1 to an unused die when marking a dangerous space. That’s helpful in trying to do missions like this Rescue mission, letting you bump a lower roll or two up to the number you need. However, Telekenesis is even cooler, letting you pick a number before a Threat roll and if you roll at least one of that number, you can ignore an adjacent door or trap. How’s that for a handy skill?

Game of the Week: Island Alone on sale for just $4!
You are on a deserted island far away from civilization. Your task is first and foremost to survive.
Explore through an island, gathering resources to try and survive long enough and gain enough points to be victorious. Use dice to move and to collect those resources, including the special survival points on some spaces if you use the number shown. Keep an eye to your food and water supplies so that you do not die of hunger over the course of the game, and put your other resources to use to build smoke signals, knives, tents, rafts, and more to help you maximize your efficiency. If you enjoy a competitive exploration game, you won’t want to miss out on this little game.

The Last Lighthouse: Fearsome Fog Expansion
Thick fog covers the sea, sowing doubt and confusion wherever you look. Illuminate these obscured areas if you hope to survive.
Another small, yet incredibly exciting, expansion to add some spice to your solo gaming. This one simply adds four fog cards above the sea, and as you defeat a nightmare under a Fog Card, you also flip the Fog card and resolve its effect after the nightmare Defeat effect triggers. However, you need to clear all of the Fog cards in order to end the game, meaning you cannot simply ignore them where they are. A great expansion to add a new challenge for you to overcome, keeping the experience nice and interesting.
