Fantasy Map Maker is a map-drawing game in which players roll dice, and then use the results to choose features to add to their own fantasy map.
At the start of each game, players choose 5 quest cards, which dictate how points can be earned. Players need to keep the quest card objectives in mind as they draw various features on their map, such as coastlines, mountains, rivers, and landmarks.
At the end of the game, players add up their scores based on the quest objectives. The player with the highest score wins! For solo players, aim for the maximum score of 100 points, or just to beat your own personal high score.
With 243 combinations of quests for players to choose from, Fantasy Map Maker offers considerable replay value. Furthermore, there is also an optional event system, which adds more fantastical features to players’ maps while increasing the difficulty of the game.
Not just a game, Fantasy Map Maker is an exercise designed to allow players to experience the joy of creating their own fantasy world.
