New games for Nov 1 2019 - Project: Monarch Grove

Here's what's new this week:

We have three new PNP releases this week! Joining some previous favorites like Pocket Ops, we have The Artemis Project from Grand Gamers Guild. Here's a little intro for a big game:

The Artemis Project is a dice (dis)placement and engine building game that has you fighting the planet as well as the other players. Roll your dice and place them tactically to thwart the other colonists. Harvest energy and minerals. Bid for buildings. Work together to go on Expeditions to earn rewards. Train workers. Will your efforts be enough to survive?

We also have a new publisher with PNP Arcade: Resonym. Both of their titles are very highly rated and we're excited to have them join our PNP Arcade family.

In Monarch you play as an heir to the throne. Your mother, the Queen, has lived out her years and will soon pass on the crown. The time has come for you and your siblings to demonstrate your intelligence, compassion, bravery, and strength as leaders. Out perform your siblings to demonstrate your ingenuity and strength. Choose strategies that will bring prosperity to the land and glory to your court. Defend the realm from threats and famine. Only the player with the most majestic court will be named heir.

Visitor in Blackwood Grove is an asymmetric, two-versus-many, inductive-reasoning game in which one player — the Visitor — makes up a secret rule like "Things that contain metal" to determine which objects can pass through the forcefield. The other players — the Agents and the Kid — try to figure out the rule by seeing which objects pass through the forcefield and which don't. The Agents secretly test cards from their hands to learn what passes the rule and what doesn't. The Kid tries to predict which cards will pass the rule, and she builds trust with the Visitor if she’s right.
