        Pilfering Pandas

Check it out on Kickstarter now!

You’re a busy group of pandas planning your escape from the zoo but you’ll need help. You have been rummaging and pilfering food from all the other animals but the Zoo Keeper is onto you so you must be fast. You must quickly trade all the food you have pilfered with the nefarious Meerkats who have promised to help one panda to escape.

A clever little game, which should come at no surprise to anyone who loved Assembly, a previous game from this designing duo. This one has you collecting sets of cards to trade to the Meercats in order to be the one who wins. There’s a way to take a lot of cards in one move, but it comes with the Timer which means you can’t do that again for up to 3 rounds. There’s also rules to play multiple sessions to see who wins the game. It is fast, fun, and is sure to be a hit at most gaming tables.

        Tribunal 1920

New York 1920, Play as a lawyer and try to win 3 trial hearings ! In this bluff game, you will have to place your pawns in court thanks to the cards you have in hand. If a player places 3 pawns in a row on a grid, he wins the audience and approaches victory. Will you be a good lawyer ?

Do you know what theme we don’t see enough of in games? That’s right, courtroom games. This one has dueling lawyers trying to come out on top. Who cares if you’re bluffing so long as you win? With great artwork, this is sure to be a fast, lovely game while it is on your table. If you like fast-playing games with some light worker placement, this is one you will not want to miss checking out!

        Rivet Heads

In Rivet Heads, you’re the boss of the most badass squad of mercs, fixers, and runners in the sprawl. Make deals to secure top-of-the-line upgrades for your crew, and score the most rep by the end of three cycles.

This game is played in cycles, and each cycle you’ll have a different set of cards to work through which means shifting objectives. Planning well early will allow you to focus on the vital tasks later in the game, whereas poor planning might leave you on the outside looking in. There’s a cool activation aspect of your cards where they shift on something like a timeline, letting you manipulate order and choose your card placement to affect turn order. A clever little game with a nice Cyberpunk theme.

        Studies in Sorcery

It’s your final semester at the Academy of the Dark Arts, and it’s time to finish your degree. Earn enough credits to graduate by finishing your Master’s Thesis and completing projects in Alchemy, Sorcery, Reanimation, and more. Whoever completes the most impressive projects will be named Valedictorian. Time is precious so make the most of it while you still can!

A quirky theme for a fun game with digging for materials, completing projects, and doing it all with the intent of earning more credits than every other player at the table. The most striking thing in the game is the process of digging for cards, as you’ll get to look at the entire pile for a card you need - with up to 3 piles to look through. Yes, it could slow the game down. But not as much as spending 20 rounds drawing blind waiting for the right card to finally come. Anyone who has played Ticket to Ride probably knows exactly how aggravating that feels.

Game of the Week: Night Class Episode 2 - On Sale for just $1

Looks like the neighborhood has some new muscle in town. Led by a trigger-happy criminal known as Miss Never, the crooks have already ransacked two local banks. They messed up tonight, because class was cancelled, and your night just opened up.

If you’ve played the first episode in this superhero Roll-and-Write game, you know that this is a really fun and interesting game. If you haven’t tried it, now is the perfect time to put on your mask, tie on your cape, and hunt down bad gies.. Rest assured, Episode 2 will be enjoyable as it hits your table, letting you take down baddies as the superhero of your imagining (assuming the powers you unlock coordinate with what you always imagined your powers would be). With new layout and graphics, and swappable ability cards, the Night Class series of games just became even more interesting than ever before.
